MANGROVE CHIROPRACTIC

About Mangrove Chiropractic

Meet the Founder
Dr. Meredith Jones
Dr. Jones grew up surrounded by fields, horses, crops and small-town values in rural Maryland. As the youngest of four siblings, she spent her childhood playing sports, riding horses, caring for animals, and spending a lot of time outside! This foundation of hard work, resilience, and community shaped who she is today.
After earning a lacrosse scholarship to Catawba College in North Carolina, Dr. Jones navigated the challenges of living away from home for the first time, building close relationships while learning how to balance academics, athletics, and independence. It was during this time that her passion for healthcare started to emerge.
Originally drawn to veterinary medicine, Dr. Jones ultimately discovered her true calling in chiropractic care combining her love for hands-on healing, patient connection, and functional, whole-person wellness. After graduating chiropractic school, she spent 5 years refining her skills, especially in soft tissue therapy, pregnancy, postpartum, pediatrics, and sports care. Her personal experiences, both in healthcare and in overcoming difficult personal challenges deeply shaped her philosophy: that every patient deserves to feel heard, respected, and safe.
In June 2025, Dr. Jones opened her own practice, driven by a vision to create a space where people feel comfortable, cared for, and empowered to take charge of their health. She believes in building real relationships with her patients and their families, providing personalized care, and blending evidence-based chiropractic with a compassionate, honest approach.
When she’s not in the office, you can still find her active, outdoors, and spending time with family, friends, and her animals;
never losing sight of her roots.

My Why
The Reason I Became A Chiropractor
I became a chiropractor because I know what it’s like to feel frustrated, unheard, and stuck in the healthcare system. I’ve been there; bouncing between doctors, searching for answers, and feeling like my pain or concerns weren’t taken seriously.
My “why” is simple: to create a safe, welcoming space where every patient feels seen and heard. I want people to know they’re more than just a symptom or a chart; they’re whole humans with unique stories and needs. I believe in working together with my patients, educating them, and providing honest, hands-on care that empowers them to live fuller, healthier lives.
Opening Mangrove Chiropractic isn’t just a career move... It's my way of making a difference in my community and helping people reclaim their health and confidence.
